Job summary

The University Operations division at UCF is seeking an Information Security Professional IV, Lead to serve as the technical and operational leader for the Identity Governance and Access Management (IGA) function within UCF's Information Security Office.

This role leads identity security operations, manages a security team, and drives enterprise‑wide initiatives to govern access to university systems, applications, and data, ensuring secure, compliant access based on roles and affiliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or HS diploma with 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading Identity Governance and Access Management programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of RBAC, access reviews, PAM and enterprise applications security is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance and continuous improvement of identity governance and access management services.
• Oversee access request, RBAC, entitlement management and review programs.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for the IAM team and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Direct identity lifecycle processes including joiner/mover/leaver workflows and provisioning.
• Govern privileged accounts, service accounts, and administrative access with oversight.
• Guide security design decisions and align with policies, compliance and audits.
• Collaborate with business units and IT to improve application security and access governance.
• Lead reporting and audits related to identities, roles and entitlements.
