Job summary

Facility Management Corporation, known as FMC Ice Sports, is seeking Lead Instructors to support Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs. This part-time role involves guiding groups, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring a positive customer experience in our ice arenas.

Most programs run afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Pay ranges from $20-30 training to $22-32 as an instructor, with base non-instructor rates $17-18; compensation based on experience and qualifications, with background

Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting or teaching skating classes preferred.
• Applicants must be able to ice skate proficiently.
• Figure skaters should have achieved and passed ISI Freestyle 4 or USFS Freeskate 4 and up.
• Hockey players should have participated in multiple years of formal league play.

Responsibilities

• Interact with children and adults during lessons.
• Demonstrate skating techniques and safety.
• Prepare attendance and program documentation.
• Enforce rink policies and procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
