Job summary

Williams is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician Lead to mentor a team of safety‑focused technicians and maximize equipment reliability at our natural gas processing facility. You will perform high‑level maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and partner with supervisors on instrumentation specifications and project scopes.

Expect to minimize unplanned outages through root cause analyses, train operators, and support after‑hours coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) years’ progressive experience in operations, engineering, or the energy industry.
• Valid State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Aptitude for embracing technology to improve efficiency.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety first.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑level maintenance and operation of natural gas process‑related equipment and systems.
• Mentor and train less experienced operators and technicians.
• Minimize unplanned shutdowns through root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Partner with supervisors and managers to share findings and define instrumentation specifications.
• Fix and maintain process control systems and support new projects.
