Job summary

Williams is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician III to join a safety-focused team. You will maximize equipment reliability, mentor teammates, and troubleshoot sophisticated problems with attention to detail.

The role involves complex maintenance on gas processing assets, collaborating with project managers for new instrumentation scopes, and possible overtime or travel between Williams locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years as an Operations Technician or similar, plus 1 year as I&E Technician.
• Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and 2+ years of Operations Technician experience in Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex maintenance and operation tasks on gas process equipment and systems.
• Minimizes unplanned shutdowns via root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Repairs and maintains process control systems.
• Collaborates with project managers to define scope and instrumentation specs for new projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
