Job summary

Williams Companies in Colorado seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician to join a safety‑driven team. You’ll maximize equipment reliability, mentor teammates, troubleshoot sophisticated problems, and ensure safe, efficient operation of gas process systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years as an Operations Technician (one year as an I&E Technician); an associates or two‑year technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of Operations Technician experience.
• One year experience as an I&E Technician or similar role.
• Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex maintenance on natural gas process equipment and systems.
• Minimizes unplanned shutdowns via root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Fixes and maintains process control systems.
• Partners with project managers to define scope and instrumentation specs.
• Other duties as assigned.
