Job summary

Thompson Industrial is seeking a Hydroblaster/Field Technician to join our safety‑driven team in Buckner, KY. You will lead two or more crews, coordinate daily operations, and perform hands‑on hydroblasting and chemical cleaning with UH‑P pumps and related equipment.

The role requires safety training, English proficiency, a valid driver's license, and TWIC; you will document work and maintain client standards while interfacing with customer representatives.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training & essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Language proficiency: understands English at a level to comprehend safety training & respond to instructions in emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license and other requirements of the company’s driving policy are required when driving a company vehicle or using a personal vehicle on company business.
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Lead two or more crews by planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations.
• Operate hydro‑blasting and chemical cleaning equipment as required.
• Examine surfaces to ensure conformance to client specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation and safety compliance at the job site.
• Interface with customer representatives regarding job setup and scope, and ensure requirements are met.
