Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Hydroblaster/Field Technicians to safely execute jobs across services lines at customer sites. This role may lead two or more crews, planning and coordinating daily operations while ensuring equipment readiness and timely documentation.

As a safety representative, you will operate hydro-blasting equipment and ultra-high-pressure pumps, interfacing with customers and upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training.
• Language proficiency: understands English at a level to comprehend safety training & respond to instructions in emergency situations.
• Valid driver's license and other requirements of the company's driving policy.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies & procedures of both the company & the customer.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operation of special equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate equipment including vacuum trucks and cutting equipment as used on the job.
• Examine surface cleaning to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• For supervisory personnel: interface with customer representatives, ensure requirements are met, and report to branch manager.
