Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Systems Engineer - Hydraulics and Fuels (Experienced or Lead) to join the SEIT team on the B-52 CERP program and drive engineering excellence.

You will lead hydraulics and fuels subsystem engineering, develop requirements, perform trade studies, and mentor teammates while interfacing with design, manufacturing and QA to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in hydraulic power or fuel systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Experience in aerospace/defense program integration and verification.

Responsibilities

• Operate as SME on Hydraulics and Fuels Subsystems.
• Lead systems engineering efforts for the SEIT IPT with quality standards.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and QA to define and implement processes.
• Conduct trade studies and risk assessments to optimize design, cost, and schedule.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, and verification plans.
• Oversee the integration of hardware and software in System Integration Labs in Oklahoma City.
• Oversee verification and test of hardware and software components for San Antonio modifications and Edwards AFB flight test.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members.
• Prepare and present technical documentation to stakeholders.
