Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join our development team supporting an Intelligence customer. The role focuses on OpenShift operations, deployments across security domains, and integration with data services.

Required: TS/SCI with polygraph, a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 5+ years of developer experience, and IAT Level II certifications. This is a 100% onsite position based in St Louis, MO or Springfield, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of developer experience.
• Meet 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE, CCNA, etc.).
• 100% onsite work.

Responsibilities

• O&M of OpenShift across security domains in cloud and datacenter environments.
• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks (Crossplane, Kyverno, GitOps).
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites and scale platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to meet integration requirements and security standards.
• Document configurations and deployment procedures.
