General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Jr Cloud Engineer to join the CORE team in a hybrid role in St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA. You will help deliver cloud solutions, automate deployments, and support enterprise services with a focus on security and reliability.

This position requires 3+ years of experience and knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript/Python, OpenShift/AWS, and GitLab CI/CD. US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or similar fields.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python and Bash.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and OpenShift or AWS.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Integrate with enterprise authentication services.
• Maintain infrastructure with autoscaling and cost optimization.
• Manage and aggregate server logs; monitor security incidents.
• Monitor system performance and resource usage.
• Apply configuration management and document recurring tasks.
