Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design, engineer, and support enterprise-grade network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role spans AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with focus on scalable, secure connectivity and automation.

You will lead engineering efforts, provide high-level technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business drivers into robust infrastructure architecture.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Proficient in network design, operations, and security considerations.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with cloud networking services and APIs.
• Ability to script and automate network workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer network infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Configure network software and hardware for large-scale deployments.
• Provide 4th-level escalation support for Severity 1 incidents.
• Architect cloud networking solutions (Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN).
• Support virtual fabric overlays (Equinix Fabric, Megaport VCC) for seamless connectivity.
• Lead network planning and provisioning with continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business drivers with architecture.
• Develop automation to streamline network operations and reduce manual work.
• Represent JPMorganChase with external vendors and partners.
