Job summary

Vitt Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a seasoned Lead HVAC Service Technician to lead a service team while continuing field work. You will diagnose complex residential HVAC systems, mentor junior technicians, and drive safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least five years of residential HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license. A no on-call policy accompanies a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle advanced residential HVAC diagnostics and repairs.
• Support technicians with difficult troubleshooting and technical questions.
• Provide coaching and field training to newer technicians.
• Promote safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
• Help improve departmental processes and efficiency.
• Lead by example through professionalism and accountability.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on scheduling priorities and training needs.
• Help implement new service procedures and promote best practices across the department.
