Job summary

GRDA seeks a Technician Lead-HVAC at the Grand River Energy Center, located near Tulsa, OK. This role provides leadership and technical expertise to a multidisciplinary maintenance team responsible for power generation facilities.

Key duties include leading HVAC maintenance, coordinating outages, and ensuring safe, reliable plant operation and compliance with procedures. A strong background in HVAC at industrial facilities plus a technical degree are required.

Qualifications

Eight years of skilled HVAC maintenance experience in a generation or large industrial facility.
Completion of a two-year technical program; trade, technical, or vocational schooling.
Advanced class combustion turbine chiller systems preferred.
Valid Oklahoma driver license or ability to convert within 30 days if out of state.

Responsibilities

Provide safe work environment through procedures, training, and safe work plans.
Lead maintenance team to achieve high plant availability and cost objectives.
Install, adjust, inspect, service, and repair HVAC equipment in the power plant.
Perform postmortem analysis for forced outages and equipment failures.
Review and maintain standardized maintenance procedures.
Monitor inventory and ensure spare parts availability for critical assets.
Develop, implement, and administer predictive and preventative maintenance strategies.
Coordinate unit outages and use Maximo to create and schedule work orders.
Be available for odd shifts or after-hours emergencies as needed.
