Job summary

The Billingsley Company seeks a Lead HVAC Technician to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment across the campus. You will guide junior techs and collaborate with the engineering team to solve complex issues.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, coordinating shutdowns, regulatory compliance, and cost-control efforts while managing parts and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Ability to read safety manuals and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily activities and purchases to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Analyze, plan and perform preventive maintenance of HVAC systems across campus.
• Plan shutdowns for maintenance in coordination with managers and tenants.
• Troubleshoot, repair and modify HVAC systems; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records and manage parts, vendor relations and cost controls.
