Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a busy housing complex in Detroit. You will handle apartment maintenance and turns, perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic appliance repairs, and keep common areas safe and presentable.

The role requires strong customer service and the ability to work independently or with a team. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reporting issues, and supporting supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and turns.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Timely complete service requests in occupied apartments and turn vacant units for leasing.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Repair drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, and paint as needed.
• Maintain common areas and exterior lighting; perform grounds tasks.
• Support operations and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
