Job summary

Vitt Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to lead a field team while performing advanced residential diagnostics and repairs. This role emphasizes coaching others, solving difficult problems, and helping build a high-performing service department.

Based in St. Louis, MO, the position offers a pay range of $45–$60 per hour, a generous sign-on bonus, a take-home company vehicle, 401(k) with employer match, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Five or more years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle advanced residential HVAC diagnostics and repairs.
• Support technicians with difficult troubleshooting and technical questions.
• Provide coaching and field training to newer technicians.
• Promote safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
• Help improve departmental processes and efficiency.
• Lead by example through professionalism and accountability.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on scheduling priorities and training needs.
• Help implement new service procedures and promote best practices.
