HVAC Service Technician

Description: The Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.

Job Duties:

1. Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
2. Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installations, and performing acceptance tests.
3. Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improvements, and recommending system enhancements.
4. Keep personal equipment operational by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
5. Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
6. Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
7. Update job knowledge through educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
8. Contribute to organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a service vehicle for an HVAC contractor.
2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
3. VRF experience preferred.
4. BAS/DDC Controls experience desired.
5. Owns necessary tools.
6. Reliable with excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug testing.
8. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
9. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Additional Information:

• Pay Type: Hourly
• Minimum Rate: $25.00
• Maximum Rate: $42.00
