Job summary

Thirty Madison Ventures in Homewood, AL is seeking a Lead HVAC Service Technician to diagnose systems, walk homeowners through options, and close on the spot. The role offers year-round 40-hour weeks, a new bonus program, and ownership of field operations.

The ideal candidate has solid residential HVAC service/repair experience, can sell in-home, and is ready to lead installs, coordinate with dispatch, and ensure quality work for the Birmingham metro area.

Qualifications

• Solid residential HVAC service and repair experience.
• Proven ability to sell in the home, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance memberships.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Clean, valid driver's license.
• Your own basic hand tools.
• Self-motivated and reliable, and comfortable working independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Run about 3 residential and light commercial service calls per day; roughly 70% residential.
• Diagnose and repair furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
• Present repair, replacement, and maintenance membership options and close sales on-site.
• Quote full replacement jobs, including ductwork.
• Walk customers through their system and collect signatures and payment on site.
• Lead replacement installs from start to finish and inspect quality.
