Coldstat Refrigeration is seeking an HVAC & Refrigeration Installation Technician – Lead Precision Assembly for high-capacity units in Paramus, NJ. You will drive the physical infrastructure of our clients' refrigeration systems, managing full lifecycle onsite delivery and precision assembly.

The role requires assembling walk-in boxes, unloading equipment, aligning panels with precision tools, and operating forklifts to move large equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling professional walk-in refrigeration boxes.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to unload trucks and position heavy industrial equipment safely.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in field ops.
• Strong spatial awareness and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble walk-in refrigeration boxes from the ground up using specialized power and hand tools.
• Unload heavy refrigeration equipment and transport components into the client facility.
• Use levels and precision measuring tools to ensure panels and lines are aligned.
• Operate forklifts or Lulls to move large equipment across job sites.
• Set and secure complex case line-ups for final piping and electrical integration.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to sites to maintain construction timelines.
