Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead a team of HVAC/R technicians responsible for servicing supermarket refrigeration systems. You will oversee maintenance, diagnosis and repair activities across a defined geographic area, ensuring timely, safe and quality work.

The role requires strong leadership, in-depth HVAC/R knowledge, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to mentor technicians. We offer paid training, bonuses, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; HVAC-R technical degree preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• 7 years field experience or 5 years with HVAC/R certification for external candidates; 3 years as Certified Technician for internal candidates.
• Must have valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians across a defined geographic area for refrigeration service and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations and knowledge of customer systems.
• Screen, interview, and hire technicians; mentor and develop staff.
• Assist with job quoting, staffing, estimating, and understanding project costs.
• Coordinate technical support, training, and guidance to technicians; ensure safety compliance.
