Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects across Southern California. You will drive projects from preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in mechanical construction, with strong coordination, financial, and operational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Direct experience with mechanical/HVAC/plumbing contractors preferred.
• Experience with budgets, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from startup to closeout.
• Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and docs.
• Coordinate procurement, long-lead items and schedules.
• Collaborate with field leaders, general contractors, and owners.
• Partner with BIM/VDC teams on coordination and constructability.
• Review plans, specs, shop drawings, and project requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors throughout execution.
• Identify risks, scope changes, and cost impacts.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Support commissioning, punch list, turnover, and closeout.
