Job summary

Gillette Heating and Air is seeking a Lead HVAC New Construction Installer to join our on-site installation team in Spanish Fork, UT. You will lead HVAC installations in new homes, coordinate daily jobsite activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to code.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC installation experience, especially in new construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
• Proven leadership of a small crew on job sites.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Organized and able to keep projects on schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Gillette Heating and Air is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC New Construction Installer to join our growing installation team.

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who has strong HVAC installation experience, understands new construction projects, and is comfortable guiding a crew while working alongside them.

You’ll take the lead on HVAC installations in new construction homes, coordinate daily jobsite activities, and ensure projects are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in HVAC installations for new construction projects
• Coordinate daily tasks and provide direction to installation crew members
• Complete HVAC rough‑ins, trim‑outs, equipment installations, and system start‑ups
• Install and oversee ductwork, ventilation, furnaces, air conditioners, and related components
• Review installation plans, blueprints, and job specifications
• Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are available for each project
• Monitor installation progress and help keep projects on schedule
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide technical guidance to crew members
• Communicate with builders, jobsite superintendents, and company leadership
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance
• Train and support less experienced installers and apprentices
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites

What We’re Looking For

• Strong HVAC installation experience, including new construction projects
• Previous experience as a Lead Installer, Crew Leader, or HVAC Foreman preferred
• Experience with HVAC rough‑ins, trim‑outs, ductwork, and equipment installations
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Comfortable leading a small crew while remaining actively involved in installations
• Ability to organize daily work and keep projects moving efficientlyStrong communication skills when working with builders and other trades
• Commitment to quality workmanship and jobsite safety
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
