Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial/industrial HVAC equipment onsite in Spokane, WA. You will service rooftops, chillers, boilers, and other systems, with a focus on preventing breakdowns and delivering quality customer education.

The role requires 5+ years experience or 7+ in related fields, union journeyman status, a valid driver’s license, and relevant HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accepted as Journeyman by the union.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test systems to verify functionality (chillers, rooftops, AHUs, etc.).
• Repair and replace defective equipment or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and test systems for warranty service applicability.
