Job summary
Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our Birmingham-area team. You will install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and associated ductwork while delivering excellent customer service.
The role requires 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, EPA and safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You will work under supervision to plan, execute, and inspect installations and to train junior installers as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with HVAC training.
- EPA and safety certifications required.
- Proficient in HVAC installation and ductwork.
- 3+ years of HVAC technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment and accessories in customers' homes under supervision.
- Install heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment per specs.
- Design, fabricate, and install ducts and fittings.
- Perform start-ups and limited diagnostics.
- Deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Complete paperwork neatly and collect payment.
- Assist with site supervision, planning, and estimating.
- Train other installers in skills and procedures.
