Smiths Heating and Cooling LLC is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to head installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will oversee projects, mentor junior technicians, ensure safety and code compliance, and deliver reliable climate control solutions while driving quality and efficiency in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading HVAC installation teams.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems installation, maintenance and repair.
Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, electrical diagrams and safety codes.

Responsibilities

Lead installation of HVAC systems (AC units, boilers, furnaces, refrigeration equipment) with precision.
Read schematics, blueprints, manuals to ensure correct setup and troubleshooting.
Mentor and supervise HVAC installers; share best practices for installation and maintenance.
Perform complex HVAC repairs, diagnostics, and system testing to ensure optimal operation.
Coordinate with project managers for schedules, materials, and site safety protocols.
Document work with service reports and compliance records; ensure EPA regulations are followed.
