Elmar Heating & Cooling, based in Timonium, Maryland, is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to manage residential installations from start to finish in the Greater Baltimore area. You will lead a crew, install central air, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits, and ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and local codes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualificações

• Requires 5+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience.
• Independently lead residential HVAC installations and crews.
• Proficient in installing conventional systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and mini-splits.

Responsabilidades

• Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Install/replace central AC, gas furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers.
• Install ductless mini-splits (single- and multi-zone).
• Oversee helpers and trainees with hands-on direction.
• Perform startups, commissioning, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot installation issues (electrical, refrigerant, mechanical).
• Read wiring diagrams and manufacturer specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites and communicate with homeowners.
