Job summary

Holy City Heating & Air, LLC in Charleston, SC is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer with at least 3 years of experience and a confident, positive attitude. The role involves leading a crew, performing high-quality residential and light commercial equipment replacements, and ensuring safe, efficient jobsite operations.

You must supply your own hand tools; candidates with vacuum pump, nitrogen regulator, recovery machine, and torches are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must bring your own hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to use Android/Apple devices for communication and field reporting.
• Ability to work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
• Ability to climb and descend ladders safely.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to finishing jobs efficiently and correctly.
• Organized, professional, and positive attitude.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install materials and equipment according to plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret equipment submittals and installation manuals.
• Ensure installations meet code requirements and pass inspections.
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and subcontractors.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Provide management with accurate labor estimates for projects.
• Identify and document change orders when needed.
• Lead, mentor, and coach installation apprentices.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC industry standards and best practices.
