Burton Plumbing in Omaha, NE seeks a Lead HVAC Installer to lead residential installation teams, schedule projects, and ensure quality workmanship on-site. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, gas lines, and wiring, braid refrigerant lines, and start systems to meet warranty requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential and/or light commercial HVAC service/install experience.
• Knowledge of installation and venting codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and draw simple diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Integrity with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct a team of installers, delegate tasks, and manage job site manpower.
• Install all HVAC components (furnaces, ACs, ductwork, gas lines, wiring), fabricate ductwork, braze refrigerant lines, pull vacuum, and perform system start-ups.
• Enforce safety protocols, maintain a clean job site, and ensure installations meet manufacturer specs and codes.
• Communicate with clients about system operation, maintenance, and warranty, providing expert advice and ensuring satisfaction.
• Coach and train apprentices and junior installers on best practices and company values.
• Complete job-related paperwork accurately (payroll, work orders, permits, warranty info) and maintain tools/vehicles.
