Job summary

All-Temp Systems Mechanical is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Installer in Milford, MA to manage end-to-end installation projects and direct field crews. You will install and commission heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems for homeowners, ensuring safety and top-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC experience of 2+ years.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of furnaces, air conditioning, ductless heat pumps, boilers, and IAQ products.
• Review installation requirements and complete work to company standards.
• Communicate with homeowners, explain operation, and address questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Verify equipment operates correctly and leave job site presentable.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and reinforce dependable service.
• Use hand tools, power tools, generators safely and appropriately.
• Submit daily paperwork and job documentation.
• Work independently when needed and coordinate with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation of residential furnaces, air conditioning systems, ductless heat pumps, boilers, hydronic heating equipment, indoor air quality products, and other comfort systems.
• Review the installation requirements for each project and complete work according to company standards and specifications.
• Communicate with homeowners throughout the installation process, answer questions, explain equipment operation, and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each project.
• Verify that newly installed equipment is operating properly and that the job is left clean and presentable.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and help reinforce the company’s reputation for dependable service.
• Use hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment safely and appropriately.
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation accurately and submit records on a daily basis.
• Work independently when needed while also coordinating effectively with other members of the team.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of residential HVAC experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history
• Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds

The starting base hourly rate for this position is $30-50 per hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
