Job summary

Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning in Lexington, KY, is seeking an HVAC Installation Mechanic for residential installations. You will disassemble old equipment and install, start-up and troubleshoot new HVAC systems in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Comfortable leading a crew with a helper.

• Willingness to access attics, crawl spaces and lift heavy objects.
• Prepared for long hours and possible weekend work.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background checks, and valid driver's license.

As an AOR / HVAC Installation Mechanic, you would disassemble and remove old systems, then install, start-up and troubleshoot (if needed) new replacement HVAC systems in residential settings.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable in a Lead role with a Helper assigned.
• Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
• Journeyman HVAC License (Certification assistance may be available).
• A proven work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to go into attics, crawl spaces and lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
• Willingness to put in long, sporadic hours and/or weekends when necessary.
• All candidates are required to undergo pre-employment drug screen, background checks and must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record .
