Job summary

Air Control Home Services in Mohave County, AZ, is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer to accurately and efficiently install top-of-the-line heating and air equipment in customers’ homes. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for journeyman level technicians with 5+ years of experience.

You will maintain a professional appearance, coordinate with dispatch and installation teams, and may mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA certification with knowledge of installation and venting codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams for heating/cooling systems.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Highly organized with follow-through.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Willingness to mentor an apprentice and grow as a professional.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air equipment in customers' homes accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, management, and installation teams.
• Teach an apprentice the skills to become a Lead Installer.
• Keep company truck clean and inventory up to date.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and driving record.
• Pursue required certifications; company can assist.

Job description

SIGN ON BONUS - $5,000! The sign on bonus is paid in installments at hire, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.

*This applies to journeyman level technicians with 5+ years of experience. Candidates with less than 5 years of experience may qualify for a reduced bonus.

The Big Task:

You will accurately and efficiently install top of the line heating and air equipment in our customers’ homes.

Key Sub Tasks

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.


• Ability to teach an apprentice the skills required to become a Lead Installer


• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.


• Keep your truck inventory up to date.


• Properly complete paperwork.


• Join the on-call rotation.


• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.


• Have and maintain a clean driving record.


• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.


• Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Five (5) years of HVAC Installation Experience


• EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.


• Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blue prints and other diagrams.


• Clean, safe driving record.


• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.


• Strong verbal and written communications.
