Responsibilities

• Oversees inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, replacement, retrofit, and installation of HVAC and mechanical systems across county facilities.
• Supervises and directs HVAC technicians in troubleshooting and repair of compressors, valves, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Monitors HVAC equipment performance and coordinates repairs and capital improvements.
• Coordinates HVAC contractors and reviews scopes of work, proposals, and completed work for compliance.
• Maintains records related to HVAC equipment, preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Ensures refrigerant handling follows regulatory and safety requirements.
