Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of New York is hiring a Lead HVAC Engineer for our New Jersey site in East Rutherford. The role requires in-depth HVAC knowledge to maintain 24/7 operations of a world-class cash processing and data center facility.

The candidate will work on shift, collaborates with a range of trades, and will eventually support a new site relocation planned for Warren Township. A NJ Master/HVAC license and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• In-depth HVAC knowledge and practical skills
• Experience in industrial/commercial settings
• Strong familiarity with BMS operation
• Able to use Windows, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC Engineer on a 7AM–3PM shift and ensure 100% facility uptime
• Collaborate with Real Estate trades and report to management
• Operate and monitor the new NJ site HVAC systems and data center
• Escalate complex issues to supervisor as needed
