Ai&C Endeavors Inc in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced HVAC fabricator to join our growing team. This hands-on role focuses on sheet metal fabrication, ductwork, and fast-paced project work.

As lead fabricator, you will train others and manage a small team of 2–3. You will read blueprints, estimate materials, and ensure quality, safety, and deadlines across commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication or a related trade.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards and HVAC ductwork specifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop tickets to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Operate fabrication equipment including slitter, shears, brakes, and roll formers.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to meet project requirements.
• Inspect finished components for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Meet production deadlines.
• Estimate materials and labor for orders with high accuracy and quick turnaround.
• Lead layout, measurement and marking per drawings using basic tools.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or assemble metal components.
• Examine metal stock to ensure specifications are met.
• Fasten seams or joints with welds, bolts, rivets, or adhesives to assemble components.
• Select gauges or types of metal per product specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop tickets to ensure accurate fabrication
• Operate fabrication equipment including slitter, shears, brakes, and roll formers
• Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to meet project requirements
• Inspect finished components for quality control and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Meet production deadlines
• Able to estimate materials and labor required for customer orders with high accuracy and with quick turnaround
• Lays out, measures, and marks dimensions on material, according to drawings using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Lays out and examines metal stock or workpieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Fastens seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal driver clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
• Selects gauges or types of metal or nonmetallic material, according to product specifications.
• Drills and punches holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
• Maintains equipment, making repairs or modifications when necessary.
• Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, or smoothes surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable tools.
• Shapes metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
• Must be comfortable to train others. You will be ONLY lead fabricator, currently.
• Capable of managing team - 2-3 direct reports

Requirements:

• Prior experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication or a related trade
• Proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment (shears, brakes, rocker arm welder, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards and HVAC ductwork specifications is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
