Qualifications

• Must have worked in a fast paced labor role in the past.
• Willing to learn HVAC sheet metal fabrication is a must.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in physically demanding conditions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal HVAC ductwork and components.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment under supervision.
• Cut, bend, shape, and form sheet metal to precise measurements and tolerances.
• Support journeyman fabricators with duct layout, fitting, and sealing tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting fabricated ductwork materials.
