Job summary

Ai&C Endeavors Inc in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced HVAC Fabricator to lead sheet metal fabrication and oversee a small team. You will fabricate ductwork, read drawings, and operate fabrication equipment to meet project specs.

Ideal candidates will have prior HVAC sheet metal experience, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to train others while maintaining safety and quality standards on a busy shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components to spec.
• Read blueprints and shop tickets for accuracy.
• Operate brakes, shears, roll formers and other fabrication equipment.
• Lead a small team (2-3 reps) and train others.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.
• Estimate materials and labor for orders with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and meet deadlines.

About the Role:

Ai&C Endeavors Inc is looking for a skilled HVAC Fabricator to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV! Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop tickets to ensure accurate fabrication
• Operate fabrication equipment including slitter, shears, brakes, and roll formers
• Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to meet project requirements
• Inspect finished components for quality control and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Meet production deadlines
• Able to estimate materials and labor required for customer orders with high accuracy and with quick turnaround
• Lays out, measures, and marks dimensions on material, according to drawings using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Lays out and examines metal stock or workpieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Fastens seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal driver clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
• Selects gauges or types of metal or nonmetallic material, according to product specifications.
• Drills and punches holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
• Maintains equipment, making repairs or modifications when necessary.
• Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, or smoothes surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable tools.
• Shapes metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
• Must be comfortable to train others. You will be ONLY lead fabricator, currently.
• Capable of managing team - 2-3 direct reports

Requirements:

• Prior experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication or a related trade
• Proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment (shears, brakes, rocker arm welder, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards and HVAC ductwork specifications is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
