Job summary

Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior HVAC/BAS Controls Technician to program, troubleshoot, install, and commission building automation and HVAC controls. You will perform maintenance, calibrations, and data analysis to improve energy efficiency, and support field technicians with training and technical guidance.

The role requires two BAS platform certifications, an associate degree or equivalent, and a valid Indiana driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must possess certifications in at least two BAS platforms.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a technical/trade school, or 10+ years related experience.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Program, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing BAS equipment.
• Identify energy and performance improvements through verification of design and operation sequences.
• Calibrate and repair electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems and components.
• Obtain BAS trend data to identify system improvements.
• Review alarms and alarm profiles regularly.
• Maintain HVAC equipment and inspect for wear, miscalibration, or drift.
• Order parts and manage timely repairs.
• Support design of new spaces to meet Eskenazi Health standards.
