Job summary

GLOBAL Recruitment Solutions LLC seeks a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to lead advanced high-voltage power conversion efforts in Menasha, WI. This onsite role influences architecture, standards, and roadmaps across multiple development programs.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with partners, and drive the integration of DC/DC/DC-AC technologies for microgrids, EV charging, and data center power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience in power electronics design, development, testing, or related fields.
• Experience with high-voltage power converters and inverter technologies.
• Strong understanding of power electronics architectures and electrical system integration.
• Experience coordinating modeling and simulation activities and leveraging results in design decisions.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and power electronics testing environments.
• Ability to develop technology strategies and roadmaps for power conversion and related energy applications.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, characterization, and evaluation of advanced high-voltage power electronics technologies.
• Define electrical architectures and requirements for power conversion systems (DC/DC, DC/AC).
• Evaluate components and architectures for performance, efficiency, size, reliability, cost, and integration.
• Lead research and benchmarking of emerging power electronics technologies and competitors.
• Guide selection and evaluation of advanced semiconductor technologies (Si IGBTs, SiC, GaN).
• Develop engineering documentation covering architecture, component requirements, technology evaluation, specs, and simulations.
• Lead power electronics technology roadmaps and act as a principal technical resource across programs.
