Cypress Creek Energy seeks an Engineer, HV Engineering to act as the lead technical authority on generation and load interconnection engineering, substation design, and utility compliance. This role blends hands-on engineering with project execution across solar, storage, and large-load facilities in our national portfolio.

As an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager of HV Engineering, you will guide internal teams, review EPC packages, and coordinate with utilities through

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of power systems or transmission engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of utility substation design, HV equipment specs, interconnection study processes.
• Experience with steady-state and dynamic modeling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for interconnection requests on generation and load projects.
• Review SLDs and POI configurations for feasibility and utility compliance.
• Manage external engineering consultants to produce deliverables for project execution.
• Lead technical interconnection oversight with utilities and transmission owners.
