Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking Owner's Representative High Voltage Electrical Inspectors for contract roles on solar and BESS projects across the US. You will inspect high voltage installation and testing activity — covering substation plant, HV cabling, transformers and switchgear — on behalf of the project owner.

Candidates bring HV inspection or testing experience on renewables or utility projects, plus knowledge of substation equipment and commissioning practices.

Qualifications

• HV electrical inspection or testing experience on renewables or utility projects.
• Knowledge of substation equipment, HV cable systems and commissioning practice.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR.
• Familiarity with NETA testing standards advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect HV equipment installation, terminations, cabling and substation plant
• Witness HV testing, including insulation resistance, ratio and protection testing
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, NEC and utility standards
• Document inspection records, non-conformances and test witness reports
