Job summary

Arbor Neuroscience is expanding its human neuroscience program and seeks a PhD-level researcher to design and run longitudinal, causal human studies. You will collaborate with engineers and our analysis team, travel to clinical sites, recruit participants, collect and interpret data, and help shape the program and its clinical impact.

We value hands-on science, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and building experimental setups that advance neuromodulation research.

Qualifications

• PhD and experience running human neuroscience research.
• Experience running studies end to end (recruitment, data collection, analysis).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware rigs and run data analyses independently.

Responsibilities

• Design longitudinal, causal, within-subject human studies: imaging first, then neuromodulation.
• Run those experiments, or oversee them as the program grows.
• Own the experimental rigs: specify what's needed, keep them running, and work with engineers on device usability and improvements.
• Work with research collaborators, including travel to clinical sites.
• Support participant recruitment alongside our clinical operations lead.
• Analyze and interpret data with our analysis lead.
• Write up results, publish, and present at scientific meetings.
• Help shape the human neuroscience program.
