Job summary

ApplicantPool seeks an HSE Manager to oversee the administration and coordination of the Subsurface Energy Resources Safety Management System under the direction of the Project Director in California.

The role requires extensive underground safety experience, Cal/OSHA and MSHA regulatory knowledge, and the ability to train site personnel. Rotation: two weeks on, two weeks off, with on-site responsibilities across project sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 10 years underground Safety experience.
• Knowledge of CCR, Title 8, Cal/OSHA Mine Safety Orders and MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and audit project site Safety and Health Policies and Procedures.
• Audit sites and site safety coordinators for compliance with the Safety Management System.
• Facilitate and maintain Safety Management Systems at sites lacking a Safety Coordinator.
• Conduct training, incident investigations, workplace inspections, and audits.
• Provide guidance to field personnel on regulatory responsibilities.
