Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Teaching License in Special Education required.
• 2–3 years of diverse student experience preferred.
• Knowledge of No-Nonsense Nurturer and/or 4-Step Model helpful.
• Familiarity with state IEP laws for SPED environments.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs with specific goals.
• Provide push-in and/or pull-out instruction for students with IEPs.
• Use current SPED practices to meet individual needs.
• Regularly monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Lead conferences with families and teachers.
• Collaborate with general and SPED staff to support students.
• Communicate frequently with families and address needs.
