Job summary

Relativity is seeking an experienced HRIS Lead to provide senior technical and functional leadership for Workday and related HR systems. You will partner across HR, IT, and the business to design, implement, and evolve scalable HR technology solutions, owning complex initiatives on the HRIS roadmap.

You will mentor HRIS analysts, serve as the primary Workday SME, and drive system strategy, governance, and deployment of new functionalities across HR domains.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience and advanced knowledge of two or more Workday modules.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex HRIS or enterprise system initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security concepts, and systems architecture.
  • Experience with reporting, testing, security design, and process automation within HR technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, crossfunctional HRIS initiatives, including implementation of new Workday functionality, modules, and major enhancements.
  • Own and influence the HRIS roadmap by partnering with senior HR and business stakeholders to align system strategy with organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a primary Workday subject matter expert, providing guidance on configuration, optimization, and best practices across HR domains.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts.
  • Lead resolution of highly complex HRIS issues, including root cause analysis, system design decisions, and longterm corrective solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for annual and enterprisewide HR programs (e.g., performance management, promotions, compliance reporting, payroll yearend).
  • Partner with IT and vendors to support integrations, upgrades, and security maintenance across the HR systems ecosystem.
  • Establish and maintain highquality system documentation, standards, and reporting frameworks to support scale and consistency.
  • Mentor and guide HRIS analysts through knowledge sharing, design reviews, and bestpractice coaching, without direct people management responsibility.
  • Build expertise in Workday Extend and guide the evaluation, design, governance, and deployment of applications and solutions.

Job Overview

The HRIS Lead is a senior individual contributor who provides technical and functional leadership for Workday and related HR systems. Acting as a trusted advisor and Workday expert, the HRIS Lead owns complex initiatives on the HRIS roadmap, drives system strategy, and mentors other HRIS team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt emerging Workday technologies, including Workday Extend and Workday AI capabilities.
  • Experience with system implementations in a global or fastpaced technology environment.
  • Working knowledge of applying regional data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) within HR systems.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$111,000 and $167,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
