Job summary

PTC Inc is seeking a Principal HR Technology Consultant in Boston, hybrid. You will partner with HR, TA, COEs, IT, and global stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize Workday to support scalable, compliant People processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Workday experience, strong consulting and communication skills, and a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions while navigating a matrixed, global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong consulting, facilitation, and communication skills.
• 5+ years experience supporting Workday in multiple modules; Talent Acquisition and Talent modules a bonus.
• Experience configuring and optimizing Workday functionality.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Experience conducting testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
• Influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Navigate ambiguity and balance competing priorities.
• Experience across global, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Technology partner for assigned business functions, starting with Talent Acquisition.
• Define technology roadmaps and lead stakeholder meetings to align on priorities.
• Configure and optimize Workday functionality across HR domains and COEs.
• Translate business challenges into scalable technology and process solutions.
• Ensure governance, security, audit readiness, and data integrity in Workday deployments.
• Lead testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for enhancements.
