Job summary

Leisure Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Room Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet our high standards and guest expectations in a stylish, welcoming environment.

You will collaborate with the housekeeping supervisor to assign tasks, inspect rooms, train staff, address guest requests, and coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in housekeeping or room management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
• Ability to manage staff across shifts and weekends.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety.
• Past experience in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms and public areas meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping supervisor to assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and support daily cleaning operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
• Perform hands-on housekeeping duties, including cleaning and preparing guest rooms, when needed to maintain service standards and support the team.
• Support training and development of housekeeping staff to uphold service excellence.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and adequate stock levels.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and hotel policies among housekeeping staff.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Desk team and Chief of Maintenance to coordinate room readiness, communicate guest requests, and ensure housekeeping and maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
