Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet elevated standards.

You will lead from the floor, coach team members, coordinate daily assignments, and partner with Front Office and Engineering to resolve issues while maintaining a high level of hospitality. This is a full-time, onsite role with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping leadership or supervisory experience in a full-service hotel environment.
• Experience in upscale, luxury, high-service hospitality preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel room cleanliness, inspection, presentation, and service standards.
• Comfortable interacting directly with guests and handling service recovery when needed.
• Ability to coach, direct, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive leadership presence.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Housekeeping operations and support the team in delivering clean, well-presented guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect guest rooms and areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards.
• Lead from the floor by coaching, training, and supporting Housekeeping team members throughout the shift.
• Organize daily assignments, priorities, room status, and workflow based on occupancy and needs.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to resolve guest and operational needs quickly.
• Respond professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities with urgency and hospitality.
• Maintain accountability while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Communicate with Housekeeping leadership regarding room readiness, staffing, maintenance concerns, and service issues.
