The Loren at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and ensure impeccable cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel setting.

You will supervise 5-10 associates, manage schedules, and coordinate across departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service, while upholding safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of post-high school education preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related position with this company or others.
• Requires supervisory/management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, interview, hire, train, and counsel housekeeping staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings; communicate arrivals and VIPs; assign duties.
• Monitor staff productivity and recommend promotions or changes in status.
• Determine materials, supplies, and tools to be used and stocked.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to protect guests and staff.
• Assign staff workloads and ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Distribute supplies and manage inventory to control costs.
