Job summary

Island Hospitality in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and develop a small team while ensuring the highest guest room cleanliness and operational standards. You will set an example for staff and collaborate with multiple departments to maintain guest satisfaction.

The role requires accountability for cleanliness, staff training, and ongoing communication with maintenance and front desk. Flex scheduling may be required to support occupancy and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties (changing sheets, towels, restocking supplies).
• Deliver linens to laundry.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff to meet service standards.
• Engage in preventative maintenance activities as needed.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and restock as required.
• Notify supervisors of damages or disturbances.
• Coordinate with maintenance for requests.
• Coordinate with front desk for room readiness.
