Job summary

City Express by Marriott Pooler Savannah Airport, GA is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the hotel's housekeeping department, coordinating with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure superb guest rooms and public areas.

You will supervise staff, monitor room attendants’ performance, schedule daily duties, maintain records, enforce safety standards, and train team members to uphold brand quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees.
• Inspect Room Attendant’s work daily to meet standards and productivity levels.
• In absence of the Housekeeping Manager/Assistant, inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office.
• Oversee closing of floors and restocking of Room Attendants’ carts.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and ensure timely submission to Housekeeping Office.
• Carry an active pager/radio to stay in contact with Front Office/Engineering.
• Attend hotel-required meetings and trainings.
